Cobalt Ventures recently completed this home addition in the Grassland community outside of Nashville. Originally built in 1978, this beautiful split-level home stretched 2,600 sqft. Cobalt added 1,700 sqft and an impressive outdoor living area and back patio for entertaining.
Moving isn’t always the answer—especially when you love your neighborhood. That was the case for our clients in Franklin, who adored their 1978 split-level colonial home but needed more space, better flow, and natural light.
Cobalt Ventures expanded this home by 2,000 square feet, completely transforming the layout to maximize functionality and comfort. The kitchen and primary bedroom were relocated, creating a stunning new main living area bathed in natural light. With 5 bedrooms, 5.5 baths, and an incredible outdoor space perfect for grilling, entertaining, and even a game of cornhole, this home is now built for modern living without leaving the location they love.
